We use a duffel bag during the trek, and each trekker gets a 10 kg weight limit. If you are left with any additional luggage, lock it nicely and store it in our office for free of cost. Likewise, the backpack weight limit is 5 kg. 
  • 3: Tips: Tipping is a common practice in Nepal's travel industry. It's customary to tip your guide and porters at the end of the trek. The amount of the tip depends on the quality of service provided, but a general guideline is to tip 10% of the total cost of the trek.
  • 4: Charging: Charging facilities are available at most tea houses and lodges along the trekking route. You can also bring a portable power bank and extra batteries for your electronic devices, as the charging facilities may not always be reliable and cost you some extra bucks.
  • 5: WiFi/Communication:  WiFi is available at some tea houses and lodges along the EBC trek route, but the quality and reliability may vary. You will be escorted to your 3-star hotel in the heart of Kathmandu, offering comfort and easy access to local attractions. After settling in, we arrange a brief orientation meeting at our Kathmandu office to introduce you to your trek leader, guides, and support team. Here, final checks are made for your trekking gear, and safety protocols are discussed. In the evening, you have the leisure to stroll through the bustling streets of Thamel, explore local shops, and soak in the vibrant culture, preparing yourself mentally and physically for the adventure ahead.

An early morning transfer brings you to Kathmandu airport for a scenic 35-minute flight to Tenzing-Hillary Airport, Lukla. Upon landing, the majestic Himalayan peaks greet you as the crisp mountain air invigorates your senses. Our Sherpa team will organize your trekking equipment while you explore the quaint village of Lukla. The trek begins with a gentle descent to the Dudh Koshi River, joining the main trail to Namche Bazaar. Walking through small villages like Ghat, you absorb the charming rural life of the Khumbu region. Phakding, a serene village nestled along the riverbank, provides a perfect first night’s stop. Enjoy a warm meal and the cozy ambiance of the Yeti Mountain Home while resting for the next day’s climb.

Your journey continues along the Dudh Koshi River, crossing iconic suspension bridges decorated with colorful prayer flags, each step offering stunning views of the Himalayan terrain. As you enter Sagarmatha National Park, the trail ascends steeply, rewarding trekkers with panoramic vistas of snow-capped peaks. Namche Bazaar, often referred to as the “Gateway to Everest,” is a bustling Sherpa hub with local markets, cafes, and lodges. Here, you witness the harmonious blend of tradition and modernity, from artisan shops to internet cafes. Today’s trek follows the rushing Dudh Koshi River, leading through picturesque forests and terraced fields. Reaching Tengboche, you are greeted by the spiritual serenity of the Tengboche Monastery, renowned for its ornate interiors, intricate wall hangings, and a massive Buddha statue. Depending on the day’s schedule, you may witness a mesmerizing prayer ceremony, immersing yourself in Sherpa religious traditions. The panoramic view of Ama Dablam and surrounding peaks from the monastery is a photographer’s delight. After breakfast, the trek descends briefly to Deboche before crossing the Imja Khola via an exhilarating suspension bridge. This is the pinnacle of your journey—the trek to Everest Base Camp. The trail follows the Khumbu Glacier, offering surreal landscapes of crevasses, icefalls, and towering peaks. Arriving at Base Camp, you witness climbers preparing for their historic ascents and feel the magnetic pull of the world’s highest mountain. Hot shower is subjected to be paid extra. However, in some teahouses you can get free shower.But remember to consult with your guide before doing the shower

Please remember to have plenty of fluids either water or soupy food. Proper acclimatization in your itinerary can also help you avoid the altitude sickness.
