Overview

Langtang Valley Trek After callous earthquake of 2015 lots of things, monuments and people got affected. Among various trekking regions of Nepal Langtang region got heavily ravaged. On top of the effects of the earthquake the resulting glacier outbreak caused major havoc. The village of the Langtang got washed away. However, the people of the region showed great courage to stand and rise again. Nepal Adventure Pilgrimage is delighted to present the Langtang Valley Trek package for the trekkers across the globe to witness the mythical valley of Langtang. The journey is not only to savor the great view of the Himalayas but also to acknowledge the intrepidity of the people of the region.

The adventurous journey of Langtang Valley Trek starts with the bus drive to Syaprubeshi. Lama Hotel is the first trekking camp of this route. On the way the river, waterfalls, mills and the Tamang Villages are the things to watch. Few kilometers before the first camp you will be able to see the glimpse of the Langtang Mountain. The lodging in the Lama Hotel is within the forests therefore the stay can be nature’s experience. The second day of walking consists of the rhododendron forests, bamboo forests, chortens along the Ghodatabela. You will be touched by the scenes of the valley but you will also have the life turning lessons too. The people’s bravery and passion are exemplary. You will be amazed to see the smile on faces of Langtang people even if they endured such trauma. The journey then heads towards Kyanjin Gompa. This is spiritual place where the trekkers can enjoy the tranquility and serenity in monastery. This short trekking in Nepal again takes the same route back to Kathmandu.

Best time to do  trek Langtang Valley Trek

We enjoyed our trekking to Kyanjin Gompa and climbing on Kyanjin Ri in Lantang Valley on May 2017! It was exiting and beautiful adventure. Mountains and nature in the valley are so nice, but the weather was not stable. Sometimes foggy sometimes rainy but we were accompanied with our bright and lovely Sun - our guide leader Anil!
