The adventurous journey of Langtang Valley Trek starts with the bus drive to Syaprubeshi. Lama Hotel is the first trekking camp of this route. On the way the river, waterfalls, mills and the Tamang Villages are the things to watch. Few kilometers before the first camp you will be able to see the glimpse of the Langtang Mountain. The lodging in the Lama Hotel is within the forests therefore the stay can be nature’s experience. The second day of walking consists of the rhododendron forests, bamboo forests, chortens along the Ghodatabela. You will be touched by the scenes of the valley but you will also have the life turning lessons too. The people’s bravery and passion are exemplary. You will be amazed to see the smile on faces of Langtang people even if they endured such trauma. The journey then heads towards Kyanjin Gompa. This is spiritual place where the trekkers can enjoy the tranquility and serenity in monastery. The hiking of the Kyanjin Ri offers spectacular panoramic view of the mountain vistas like Langtang Lirung, Ganjala Peak, Sishapangma and others. This short trekking in Nepal again takes the same route back to Kathmandu.

Best time to do  trek Langtang Valley Trek

The best time to do the Langtang Valley Trek is during the spring season (March to May) and autumn season (September to November). During these months, the weather is generally dry, with clear skies and mild temperatures, making it ideal for trekking.

In the spring, the hills are lush and colorful with blooming rhododendrons and other wildflowers. The temperature is mild, and the skies are generally clear, offering great views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. In the autumn, the skies are also clear, with a high chance of good visibility, offering stunning views of the snow-capped mountains.

During the monsoon season (June to August), the Langtang region receives heavy rainfall, making the trails muddy and slippery, and the views are often obscured by clouds. Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Kathmandu Arrival (1300m)

Arrive in Kathmandu at any time. Our airport representative will welcome you and explain the program further. There are no planned activities for the day, so check into the hotel. Evening welcome dinner with cultural show.Overnight at hotel.

Day 2 : Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi 7-8 hours

Today we heading to Dhunche.Travelling through Trishuli (Nuwakot). it will take you 7 to 8 hours.Overnight at Syabrubesi

Day 3 : Trek From Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel(2470m)

Trek from Syabru Gaon to Lama Hotel (2470m.) and it takes about five hours. The trail descends along the ridge on Syabru’s main street and then drop to the Ghopche Khola (2050 m.) and again descends to the Landslide (1810m.). Afterwards, you trek ascends gently to Rimche (2400m.) through Bamboo (1960m.) and at the end your trail is level to the Lama Hotel. En route you could see red pandas, monkey and bear if you are lucky.Overnight at Lama hotel.

Day 4 : Trek From Lama Hotel To Langtang Village (3430m) 5-6 hours

Having breakfast then heading to Langtang village.Your gentle climb to begin with soon steepens high above the river to Ghora Tabela. (2970m). You will soon find yourself in open country with scattered Tamang settlements.Overnight at Langtang Village

Day 5 : Trek from Langtang Village To Kyanjing (3870m)

You will climb to the ridge this morning marked with a big chorten and some Mani walls, from here you will have views of Kyanjing Gompa and the icefall from Langtang Lirung surrounded by snowy mountains. You will be walking for around 3 hours today so time to explore the area this afternoon.Overnight at Kyanjing.

Day 6 : Rest Day at Kyaangjin

Rest day at Kyangjin Gompa and excursion in and around. This is day to rest and explore the area. You can visit the monastery and the cheese factory, walk up the moraine to see the spectacular ice faces and tumbling glaciers of Langtang Lirung or ascend Kyangjin Ri [4350m], directly behind the village, for a breath-taking panorama of the Langtang peaks.


Day 7 : Trek Down Kyanjing Gompa to Lama Hotel

You will return the way you came today following the Langtang Khola river to Langtang Village and on to Ghoda Tabela and down to Lama Hotel.O/at hotel.

Day 8 : Lama Hotel To Syabru Besi-5-6 hours

Heading to Syabru Besi.The beginning of your journey today is very pretty and offers magnificent views. You will begin descending gently before it steepens to Syabrubesi, taking about 5 hours in total


Day 9 : Drive from Syabru Besi to Kathmandu by bus, which takes about 8-9 hours.Overnighat at Kathmand
