Trekkers can see various high mountains such as Annapurna II 7937m, Annapurna III 7555m, Annapurna IV 7525m, Annapurna South 7219m, Machhapuchhre 6993m, Hiu Chuli 6441m, Gandarba Chuli 6248m, and many more peaks. The Ghandruk Trek starts from drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, Pokhara to Phedi and hiking from Phedi. The total duration of the hiking is only around 6 hours for a two days trek so it is considered to be an easy trekking trail that can be conveniently done by anyone.  The highest point is only 1950 m and there is no risk of altitude sickness. You can pass through the farm terraces, beautiful hill villages, and forests, and when you reach the ethnic Gurung village of Ghandruk. The village still preserves the conventional houses with stone rooftops and the local village museum is worth exploring.

This short trek provides a good introduction into trekking, at the same time providing some magnificent close-up views of both the divine mountain Macchapuchhre (Fishtail) and Annapurna South. The best season for the Ghandruk Trek is from the beginning of the march to last June and 1st September to last December, but we are always willing to design your trip as you desire and according to your timetable. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu.(1305m)

Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara.(819m)

Day 03: Drive from Pokhara (915 m.) to Pothana (1130 m.)

Day 04: Trek from Pothana to Ghandruk (1950 m.) takes about 6 hours.

Day 05:Trek from Ghandruk to Nayapul via Birethanti and Pokhara about 5 hours.

Day 06: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus.

Day 07: Farewell friend.

Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu

We will welcome you at the airport then transfer to you hotel. Evening welcome dinner with Nepali cultural dance.Overnight at Kathmandu

Day 2
Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara

Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara,its takes about six hours via drive.You may fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara which takes just 25 min. Pokhara is tourist’s paradise with full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, temples of Buddhist and Hindus along with mountains. You can do boating at Fewa Lake where u can observe the north across the hills and Phewa Tal (lake) to the white peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.Overnight at Pokhara.

Day 3
Drive from Pokhara (915 m.) to Phedi (1130 m.)

and trek from Phedi to Pothana takes about five hours. From here you begin your trek to Pothana (1900m.). The trail ascends all the way to Pothana through forests till you reach the village called Dhampus. It is a Gurung village which gives you an opportunity to look at the magnificent views of Annapurna ranges, Lamjung Himal and Manaslu. The ascent trail follows to Pothana through the forests. This is a small village which is surrounded by forests having marvelous mountain views.

Day 4
Trek from Pothana to Ghandruk (1950 m.) takes about six hours.

The early part of trek is gradual ascend for almost an hour up to Deurali (2100 m.) which passes through oak and mixed forests with splendid views of Manaslu, Annapurna ranges and Mardi Himal. Leaving Deurali, you begin to trek steep downwards to reach Tolkha (1840 m.) , a beautiful Magar and Gurung village. To reach the next destination Landruk, a village inhabited by mostly Gurung and few Brahmins the trail is gradual descent passing through terraces and few settlements. Now the steep descent trail moves downwards to Modi Khola river and crossing iron bridge you follow steep uphill to reach Ghandruk.. There are many lodges, Gurung museum and traditional houses made of stone slabs. You can enjoy from here are Annapurna South (7229 m.), Hiunchuli (6441 m.), Annapurna III (7755 m.), Glacier dome (7200 m.) and Fish tail (6997 m.).

Day 5
Trek from Ghandruk to Nayapul via Birethanti takes about 5 hours.

This day you descend through Kimshe to Shaule Bazaar. From here your trail goes quite flat until you retrace back to Birethanti. You need to walk almost half an hour to get to Nayapul. Drive from Nayapul to Pokhara by taxi or car.

Day 6
Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus

Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus that takes about six hours. You can also fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu which takes approximately 25 minutes. Leisure time in Kathmandu.

Day 7
Farewell friend

As per your flight time we will transfer to you airport.
