The Everest Heli Trek is created to reduce the arduousness during the Everest Base Camp Trek. Every year thousands of trekkers need to be airlifted because of the altitude sickness or tiredness. However, the heli trek concept helps to reduce the chance of altitude sickness both physically and mentally.

Altitude sickness according to some experts is mental issue as well. If you are going on the high altitude places, you are mentally concerned about the level of oxygen. This itinerary allows trekkers trekker to take their time while ascending. The return trip is in the Helicopter so there won’t be rush to finish the trek within the stipulated time. Gradual ascend helps trekker to avoid excessive tiredness and allow them to have plenty of time to acclimatize.
