Everest Base Camp via Gokyo Ri is adventurous hiking in the Everest region of Nepal. The Mt. Everest or Solu Khumbu region is the second-most popular trekking & mountaineering area in Nepal. It would probably be the most popular destination, but it is more expensive & difficult to get to Khumbu Everest than to the Annapurna. To get near Everest, you must either walk for a week or fly to Luka or charter Helicopter to Lukla. The “Sherpa” means East people of Nepal. The origin name is “ Syarba”or Serwa. It is changed to Sherpa family name later. Which is one of Nepal ethnic group cast. Many eastern part of Nepal Sherpa people settlements.
Khumbu is justifiable famous, not only for its proximity to the World’s highest mountain (8850m.), but also for its Sherpas villages and monasteries.
Everest Base Camp via Gokyo Ri Trek After 45 minute morning flight from Kathmandu airport, you will reach at elevation of 2700m. Lukla Airport. You will stop at Lukla Hotel restaurant for an hour to have tea & breakfast & then start trek around 3 hrs trek reach at Phakding your first night staylodge. From next day continue trek, every day walk normally 5 – 6 hrs slowly pas. One day take rest at elevation of 3440m Namche bazar. Walk around Mt. Everest & other major mountain view site. There is view point of Mt. Everest & other mountains near the Namche hill or at elevation of 3800m. Syanboche Panorama & Everest View Hotel point. This is a viewpoint to see of major Mountain peaks of the Khumbu region.
Namche Bazar is a main gate of Khumbu Mt. Everest region. From this point you have many other Trekking, High pass ( crossing point) & Mountaineering route in Khumbu region. You can go more upper part of Khumbu region for more experience & excellent different view ( scenery).
Everest Base Camp via Gokyo Ri There are many choice of trekking route above Namche bazaar village. Kalapattar peak 5545m. and Gokyo peak 5357m. The Khumbu Everest region’s Wild flora & Fauna is protected by Sagarmatha National Park of Government. Physical Conditions and Experience Requirements
17 days of Everest Base Camp via Gokyo Ri is considered as moderate. If you jog or perform morning walks regularly then it would not be any problem for you to walk on the trail. However, it is highly recommended that you should start doing mild exercises one month prior to your trekking date. This would help in creating the best Himalayan walking holiday experience. Having said that, it should be noted Technical Skill are not needed. The major hurdle is an altitude. Therefore, person having past medical history of lung, heart and blood diseases are extremely advised to consult your doctor before embarking on this journey.

Weather condition in Everest region
Everest is the right place to trek all over the year. The people can trek in all seasons in the Mount Everest. The March to May and October to November are the most popular trekking months in Nepal. The Himalayan peak is the coldest region so you should avoid the monsoon and winter season to trek in the high altitude. During the winter days, the temperature will be below minus. On the monsoon season, the trekking routes are damaged by the rain. You cannot able to trek in the Everest region on rainy days.

Day 02: Wake up early in the morning then Fly to Lukla (2,804m) – 35 mins. Trek to Phakding (2,610m) -3 hrs
Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,441m) – 5.5 hrs
Day 04: Namche Bazaar acclimatization day.
Day 05: Trek to Phorste Thanga (3,680m) – 5 hrs.
Day 06: Trek to Machherma (4,470m) – 5 hrs.
Day 07:Trek to Gokyo (4,790m) – 5.5 hrs.
Day 08: Trek to Gokyo Ri (5,364m) and back to Gokyo – 5 hrs.
Day 09: Trek to Thangna (4,730m) – 4 hrs.
Day 10: Cross Cho La pass (5,363m) then trek to Dzongla (4,830m) – 7 hrs.
Day 11: Trek to Lobuche (4,910m ) – 4 hrs.
Day 12: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,365 m) then back to Gorak Shep – 5.5 hrs.
Day 13: Hike up to Kala Patthar (5,555m) early in the morning and trek down to Periche (4,200m) – 6 hrs.
Day 14: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,441m) – 5.5 hrs.
Day 15: Trek to Lukla (2,804m) – 6 hrs.
