Autumn-September To November
A season with 3 different weather and temperatures. In this season there is slightly rain during early September. Monsoon season will be gone in mid-September. The temperature starts to fall down from 18 degrees Celsius to 4 degrees Celsius. The highest reach of the trek Thorong La Pass(5416m) temperature drops to -4 degrees Celsius during day time. Winter-December To February
Winter season with heavy snowfall n less rainfall. It is hard to cross a peak like Thorong La Pass(5416m) due to low degrees temperature and heavy snowfall to walk. It is also known as the driest season among all seasons.
The average temperature of daytime is around 10 to 5 degrees celsius. And, at night time it falls to -5 degrees celsius. The higher altitudes above 4000m are even cooler and have heavy snowfalls during these months. Due to cool weather snow can occur at any time. The path to camp is really hard to trek so you need to carry proper winter gear during these months.
January is the coldest month of the year. In higher altitude, the temperature is around 1-degree Celsius to -10 degrees Celsius at daytime. The night time is even cooler. Whereas, the lower altitudes temperature is about 7 to 12 degrees Celsius. In this month the days are shorter and night is longer, mainly day and night is very cold temperature hence, you need to carry warm clothes during the winter season.
February month is the ending of the winter month and the starting of the spring month. So, you can experience two weather this month. In higher altitudes, there may be some clouds that cover mountain views. The weather is still cold at the starting of this month. The temperature starts to increase as the month starts to end. Monsoon-June To August
Summer season is also known as monsoon season. Among these months, July occurs to be heavy rainfall in the Annapurna base camp.
June is the starting of raining season, the lower altitude temperature of monsoons season is 16 to 30 degrees Celsius. And, upper altitudes is about -4 degrees Celsius. The rain can be at anytime anywhere so the trekkers are not considering to trek in any of treks. But some trekkers come to trek with proper rain gear.
July is the month that falls heavy rainfall among other months. Due to rain, the area is a bit colder and hard to trek in trails due to the muddy and sloppy path. The temperature is around 18 to 6 degrees Celsius. Due to heavy rainfall, the view of mountains is blocked and covered with clouds.
During this season the trails are filled with leaches and mosquito around the bushes. The days are mostly rainy and wet so, the trekkers need to carry proper rain gear.
August is the end of the season of monsoon. The temperature starts to increase reaching around 19 to 30 degrees Celsius. There can be some natural disaster like landslide and erosion, blocking the trails.
