Residing at the height of 6189 m on top of the Dingboche Valley amidst the lofty Himalayan peak adjacent to the Chhukung Ri the mountain has seen so many legendary climbers set foot on its summit.

We will take the climbers along the Everest Base Camp Trekking route up to the base camp of world’s tallest mountain Mt. Everest and returns back to the base camp. En-route to the summit the chance to witness the adventurous Kong Ma La Pass, Chhukung Ri and stunning Dingboche windy valley climbers would get autonomous acclimatization. The spacious summit of the Island Peak allows the climbers to gather as much as views and memories as possible either via eyes, mind or camera. Sharp ridges and occasional crevasses too make it somewhat difficult. Day 05: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar

Physical Conditions and Experience Requirements

21 days of Island Peak Climbing   is considered as moderate. If you jog or perform morning walks regularly then it would not be any problem for you to walk on the trail. However, it is highly recommended that you should start doing mild exercises one month prior to your trekking date. This would help in creating best Himalayan walking holiday experience. Having said that, it should be noted Technical Skill are not needed. The major hurdle is an altitude. Therefore, person having past medical history of lung, heart and blood diseases are extremely advised to consult your doctor before embarking on this journey

We  try to depart on the scheduled itinerary, we cannot promise to guarantee fixed departure only in case of flight cancellation, delays. we request you to plan out extra few days in case the weather does not stay in our favor.  Since your safety is our uttermost priority, we also request you to follow your team leaders and your guides’ since they are trained and experienced in this particular area. We can arrange to occupy your day with adventures and exploration activities to utilize the day.

Weather condition in the Himalayas is also subject to change which can be an obstruction during your travels. Since obstacles are unpredictable, Nepal Adventure pilgrimage Treks & Expedition facilitates our customers to arrange helicopter service if needed (at extra cost). We can arrange helicopter service during the time of flight delays/ cancellation and during personal preferences.  Since helicopters can fly in arduous circumstances compared to airplanes.
